BIG GAMES

#5 Michigan Wolverines (3-0) at #30t Purdue Boilermakers (2-1) = It's been a really long time since Purdue wasn't the doormat of the Big 10. I've seen a lot of improvement from the Boilermakers this year. They are still a year or two away in my opinion. Michigan is already tested, and ready.
- Michigan 32 Purdue 24

#14 TCU Horned Frogs (3-0) at #6 Oklahoma State Cowboys (3-0) = This could be the highest scoring game of the season. One of those that add up well over 100 pts total. Both have been explosive from the get go. Both are excellent, but the edge goes to State playing at home.
- Oklahoma St. 55 TCU 52

#8 Penn State Nittany Lions (3-0) at #28 Iowa Hawkeyes (3-0) = Finally Penn State will play someone who isn't a doormat. Iowa is a strange team they get up for the big games, but play down to their opponents sometimes. Luckily for them this is a big game, and at home. So this should be a good ole fashion Big 10 game.
- Penn State 26 Iowa 24

#19 Mississippi State Bulldogs (3-0) at #12 Georgia Bulldogs (3-0) = The Battle of the Bulldogs. MSU is coming off an upset thrashing of then #9 LSU, so the real question is will they have a hangover effect from the game. Georgia is still up in the air on will they get their starting QB healthy for the game in which i'm betting he won't play. That's why i'm going with the upset. Also of note is the fact that MSU usually plays its best at the beginning of the season.
- Georgia 31 MSU 17

#22 Florida Gators (1-1) at #30t Kentucky Wildcats (3-0) = This is Kentucky's first real chance to show the SEC and the world that they are for real. The question is how good will the Gators offense play after the strong 4th quarter showing they had, including a miracle finish last week against Tennessee. Sometimes games like that can propel momentum, just ask Tennessee, and Auburn.
- Florida 17 Kentucky 13

Texas Tech Red Raiders (2-0) at Houston Cougars (2-0) = Tech has been quietly winning under the radar, while the Cougars are playing with heavy hearts after Hurricane Harvey. Should be quite a shootout.
-Houston 45 TT 42

Virginia Cavaliers (2-1) at Boise State Broncos (2-1) = Boise State has been quietly lately putting up good season after good season. While Virginia is still trying to get back to former glory. Nobody wants to play the Broncos on the blue turf.
- Boise State 38 Virginia 28

*OTHER PREDICTIONS*

Temple Owls (2-1) at South Florida Bulls (3-0) = USF 34-17
#23 Utah Utes (3-0) at Arizona Wildcats (2-1) = Utah 38-24
NC State Wolfpack (2-1) at #10 Florida State Seminoles (0-1) = FSU 21-17
Texas A&M Aggies (2-1) at Arkansas Razorbacks (1-1) = TA&M 31-28
#1 Alabama Crimson Tide (3-0) at Vanderbilt Commodores (3-0) = Alab 55-17
#4 USC Trojans (3-0) at California Golden Bears (3-0) = USC 45-22
Cincinnati Bearcats (2-1) at Navy Midshipmen (2-0) = Navy 45-42
#17 San Diego State Aztecs (3-0) at Air Force Falcons (1-1) = SDSU 29-10

BIG GAMES

#3 Clemson Tigers (2-0) at #10 Louisville Cardinals (2-0)  - last year this was the coming out party for now defending Heisman trophy winner Lamar Jackson, though in a losing effort. But this time it's at Louisville, and the Clemson Tigers don't have their All-American QB Watson. Clemson has a strong Defense, but is still trying to click on offense. If Jackson is as good as he was last year this should be an upset.
-Clemson 31 Louisville 20

Texas Longhorns (1-1) At #4 USC Trojans (2-0) - This is the first time that these two teams have seen each other since what many consider to be the greatest game ever played happen..or didn't happen according to USC for the National Title. But this is a different time, and these are different teams. Texas under Herman is still rebuilding from the gutting that Charlie Strong gave them and lack depth, and confidence. USC under Heisman Candidate Darnold is a powerhouse who could be playing for National Title this yer.
-USC 31 Texas 28

#23 Tennessee Volunteers (2-0) at Florida Gators (1-1) - "The Third Saturday in September" Winning this game can make a season for the rival, losing this game too many times can get a coach fired. Tennessee has the edge at QB, but Florida has the edge on defense. Both teams are still a year or two away.
- Florida 21 Tennessee 20

Kentucky Wildcats (2-0) at #24 South Carolina Gamecocks (2-0) - The Gamecocks are so far a surprise team this year finding ways to win. The Wildcats Coach Stoops who was on the hot seat all last year could find his way back on if he can't ink out a win. This should be an old school SEC Punch your opponent in the face style game.
- S. Carolina 20 Kentucky 17

#22 Stanford Cardinals (1-1) at #26 San Diego State Aztecs (2-0) - Just one week removed from a whooping by now #4 USC, Stanford must now go to San Diego St. But Stanford usually responds after a game like that. Both teams present strong running attacks, with Stanford having the edge in the passing game. Look for this to be a good one, but for the Cardinals to bounce back.
-SD St. 41 Stanford 38

Illinois Fighting Illini (2-0) at South Florida Bulls (2-0) - Both teams seem really good on paper. Both teams will also be facing their first actual matchup for the season. This will be a battle between two Defensive Coaches Lovie Smith (NFL HC Chicago, Tampa Bay) vs. Charlie Strong. In the end i just don't see Illinois having the offense to stay.
-USF 17 Illinois 13

SMU Mustangs (2-0) at #16 TCU Horned Frogs (2-0) - An Ancient Rivalry that as of late has finally gotten a little heated again. SMU is again rebuilding though, and is catching TCU in the process of bouncing back from a bad season.
- TCU 48 SMU 38

#28 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (1-1) at Boston College Eagles (1-1) - The one game God is gonna watch this week as these two Catholic schools duke it out. The Irish are coming off a crushing 1 pt loss to Georgia, while the Eagles look to bounce back from a stunning whooping last week against Wake Forest.
