  1. Skip Holtz gets fired at USF with a 16-21 record over 3 years, and Mike London has a 16-21 record at the University of Virginia over the same period. Both had terrible seasons this year: Holtz was 3-9, London was 4-8. Each has had an 8-5 season, with Holtz winning his bowl game and London losing his. Why is it Holtz was fired and London isn't even on your hot seat list?

At least Holtz had an excellent FBS record in 5 successful years at East Carolina, where he won Conference USA Championships each of the two years before going to USF, and 5 good years at the University of Connecticut, preparing them to make the jump to FBS competitors. London had never been an FBS coach before going to Virginia, though he won a Div 2 National Championship in his only 2 previous years as a head coach, at the University of Richmond.

Holtz is an excellent Xs and Os coach. London is a total bozo with the tactics of football - his poor clock management and decisions lost the rivalry game with Virginia Tech. Some say London is a good recruiter, but none of his recruits, after 3 years, have ever made ALL-ACC first team.

I wonder what the real difference is. It sure looks like reverse racism to me .... London was kept as coach, despite poor performance, because he is African American. The Virginia Athletic Director, Craig Littlepage, is African American. Racism in any form is wrong.

    1. At least Virginia was somewhat competitive down the stretch. USF was blown out in each of the final 3 games of the season against Miami (USF scored 9 points), Cincy (10 points) and Pitt (3 points scored in garbage time). Not much to look forward to there. But hey since you are so high on Skip, Virgina should hire him, he's available!

  2. I think you need to include Paul Johnson on your hotseat list
